Park, Herrick, Friman and Holsten Earn Rotary Scholarships

The Saline Rotary Club has awarded $1,000 scholarships to four Saline High School graduates.

Rotary presented its Academic Scholarship to Etienne Herrick. The scholarship goes to any senior in the top 25 percent of the class who plans to attend a four-year college, two-year community college, or a trade or business school.

The Alwin Gross/Howard Johnson Scholarship was awarded to Ben Friman. This scholarship is awarded to a senior interested in entrepreneurial areas of agri-business, the environment or relate fields.

The Career-Technical Scholarship went to Kayla Holsten. This scholarship is for a senior who plants to attend a career-tech institution, two-year community college, or other post-secondary institution.

The Interact Scholarship was awarded to Gloria Park. This scholarship is awarded to any student active in Saline Interact for at least one year. Academic record and community/school participation is also considered.
