Saline Salutes: Wayne Clements Was Dedicated to Keeping Saline's History Alive

One of the most steadfast advocates of Saline history walked into its pages on the last day of 2015, leaving behind a legacy of historic preservation and education that will endure in the city for decades to come. Wayne Webster Clements, this year’s choice for the Saline Salutes Lifetime Achievement Award, died Dec. 31 at the age of 84 following a lifetime of participation and service within the greater Saline community. 

330 People Participated in 14th Annual Saline Eggstravaganza

The 14th Annual Eggstravaganza enjoyed excellent early spring weather and a record number of more than 330 participants this past Saturday, March 26.  This family-fun Egg Hunt encourages young and old to hop through four different Saline shopping areas, called Bunny Trails, in search of eggs for their Easter baskets.

Kids start at Busch's, 565 E. Michigan Ave., Saline, and hop on over to participating businesses to pick up your egg!  After you visit the businesses drop your stamped list off at Mickey's Dairy Twist to enter a drawing to win one of 4 baskets filled with items donated from area businesses.  Call 734.429.4494 for more info.
