Attempted Arson at Former Girl Scouts Camp in York Township

According to a news release issued by the Washtenaw County Sheriff;s Office, York Township Deputies are investigating a breaking & entering and attempted arson that occurred at the old Girl Scout camp located at 8483 Crane Road on Jan 5. A lodge was broken into and unknown suspect(s) attempted to set fire to a shed. No arrests have been made at this time. The incident remains under investigation by area deputies. 

This location has been experienced a number of break ins and destruction of property complaints in recent months.
