If you're not charged up yet about Saline Oktoberfest and Harvest of the Arts, maybe it's because you don't know about the electric vehicles that will be on display.

The Michigan Electric Auto Association is sponsoring the second annual Saline OktoberFest EV Show to help people learn about electric vehicles and how they can be easily and conveniently be used by most families. It takes place from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29, on the second day of the downtown Saline festival, organized by Saline Main Street.

Come talk to EV owners and dealers to find out how easy it is to live with an electric vehicle. 

Here is an opportunity to:

  • Examine currently available plug-in EV of all kinds, plus antique EVs, and unique EV conversion.
  • Talk to people who drive EVs every day and learn why they have become their first car.
  • Find out what Electric Vehicles (EV’s) Plug-in Hybrids (PHEV’s) and Hybrid (HEV’s) are on the market and the advantages and disadvantages of each.
  • Find out how to purchase an electric vehicle and if you need a charge station.
  • Find out about incentives to purchase electric vehicles and EVSE (electric vehicle service equipment)
