In another sure sign of fall's arrival, the Tuesday Saline Farmers Market is wrapping up the season.
The Sept. 29 market is the season's final weekday market at the Saline District Library.
"We still have a wonderful variety of veggies including spectacular tomatoes, all kinds of summer and winter sqash, potatoes, colorful peppers - mild to hot, green beans, broccoli, chard, kale, carrots, eggplant, garlic, a nice variety of apples, apple cider, yummy donuts, mums and of course a large variety of baked goods including bread, muffins, cookies, sweet rolls, pepperoni rolls," said Nancy Crisp, market manager. "I could go on and on. Come see for yourself."
Crisp said the market also features beautiful jewelry, silky soaps made from goat's milk, handcrafted wooden bowls, a pen set as well as yard art made from bowling balls.
The market is open from 3-7 behind the Saline District Library at 555 N. Maple Rd.
