Saline Police were on the lookout after receiving two reports in two days about men in vehicles approaching students near Saline Middle School and Saline District Library.
On Sept. 18, at approximately 3 p.m, a white male driving a red, full-sized truck approached female students near the library, according to a police report. Police searched the area but did not locate a suspect.
On Sept. 19, at about 3 p.m., a four-door, tan vehicle approached a 16-year-old girl walking from Liberty School to the Middle School on Thibault. The driver reportedly asked her if she needed a ride. The girl declined and continued to walk down the sidewalk. The driver sped off. The man was described as a white male, in his late 20s or 30s, about 210 pounds, with a reddish-brown beard and wearing a ball cap. Police patrolled the area but did not find the suspect vehicle.
