Saline Police are asking the public to help identify three people suspected of stealing items from Junga’s Ace Hardware Oct. 20.

Employees at Junga’s Ace Hardware were doing an inventory check when they noticed several Sawzall blades and a Rotozip spiral saw were missing.

Surveillance video showed thefts taking place between 2:19 and 2:22 p.m. Oct. 20. The suspects are two white males and a white female, all of whom appear to be in their 20s, according to police.

The video showed one male removing a blade from a display and putting it into a bag carried by the female, according to police. The video also showed the other male taking a boxed Rotozip saw and placing it inside of his jacket. The value of the stolen items was estimated at $468.

The three suspects left the store without making a purchase.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Saline Police officer Dennis Gruschow or Saline Police detective Don Lupi at 429-4911.
