A man was pronounced dead at the scene of a one-vehicle crash in York Township Saturday morning.
The Saline Area Fire Department was dispatched 10800 block of Platt Road, south of Judd Road, at 7:14 a.m. By the time Saline firefighters arrived, the victim was pronounced dead by Huron Valley Ambulance EMTs according to Brandon Sears, firefighter with the Saline Area Fire Department.
Sears said the man was apparently delivering bread in the cargo van when the crash occurred. The van went into a ditch and struck a culvert. The driver was ejected from the vehicle.
The crash was investigated by the Michigan State Police, which could not provide details about the victim or the crash Saturday afternoon.
Sears said the driver was not a local man.
