Teens Busted With Pot at Mill Pond Park

Police confiscated a bong and marijuana from teenagers in a car parked at Mill Pond Park April 1.

The driver, an 18-year-old Saline man, admitted to smoking marijuana. Two other teenagers, 16 and 17, admitted to smoking. A fourth, 16, denied smoking.

Police called the minors’ parents to have the picked up. The 18-year-old was told to leave his car at the park and walk home. Charges are pending.

 

Damage at the Park 

 

A pair of young Saline men will face misdemeanor charges for kicking open a restroom door at Mill Pond Park. Police were dispatched to the park around 7:10 p.m. April 3. They found three males, aged 16-18. One was on the roof of the pavilion, one was climbing off the roof and one was standing nearby.

An 18-year-old admitted to kicking the door in. A 17-year-old also admitted kicking the door.

Police took pictures of the damaged door and have requested charges against the two young men.
