Thieves Targeting Vehicles in Saline

There's been a rash of thefts from vehicles and yards the last two days in Saline. There have been eight reported thefts, according to CrimeMapping.com.

  • Nov. 7, larceny from vehicle, 200 block of Clark Street.
  • Nov. 7, larceny from vehicle, 200 block of Clark Street.
  • Nov. 7, larceny from yards, 900 block of Arboretum Drive.
  • Nov. 6, larceny from vehicle, 100 block of North Harris.
  • Nov. 6, larceny from vehicle, 100 block of Sheffield Drive.
  • Nov. 6, larceny from vehicle, 200 block of Sheffield Drive.
  • Nov. 6, larceny from vehicle, 200 block of Sheffield Drive.
  • Nov. 6, larceny from vehicle, 200 block of Sheffield Drive.

Police were not available to comment on the incidents Saturday. Typically, when there's a rash of thefts from vehicles, Detective Don Lupi warns residents against storing valuables in vehicles and reminds residents to lock vehicle doors.
