After a summer hiatus, Acoustic Routes Concerts returns to Stony Lake Brewing, 447 E. Michigan Ave. in Saline, on Sept. 21, with Amy Petty, an acclaimed singer-songwriter who has shared the main stage with artists like Sarah McLachlan, Jewel, Suzanne Vega and Steve Van Zandt, and Adam Plomaritas who writes infectious tunes with pure-hearted lyrics and rhythms that could rile any dance floor. With an arresting, powerhouse vocal delivery, guitar chops no one can argue with, Adam brings the party.
Amy’s sound and songwriting are compelling, complex and original soundscapes weaving a lush tapestry of folk, pop, rock and blues. Art, mystery, and spirituality influence and infuse her poignant, evocative and sensual songs. These sonic canvases showcase the heartfelt emotion behind her lyrics and provide a foundation over which her voice and choral harmonies soar. Check Undertow and July recorded at Leon Loft.
Adams’s latest full length release, “The Hard Way”, was named #3 album of the year by Ann Arbor Radio’s John Bommarito. Check him out at the Ann Arbor Summer Festival and live in the studio.
The cover is $15 at the door, and like all Acoustic Routes shows at Stony Lake Brewing, 100 percent goes to the artists.
Other upcoming shows include Luke Winslow-King (Oct. 19), The Saline Fiddlers (Nov. 2) and Jason Dennie & Friends (Dec. 20).
