The Acoustic Routes fall concert series continues with a double-bill on Friday, November 4 at 8 p.m., upstairs at Mangiamo Italian Grill.
Making their Acoustic Routes debut -- all the way from Nashville -- are The Twangtown Paramours. This talented duo's music has been called “Sophisticated Americana” but it's actually a hybrid of the Nashville and Austin music scenes, with well-crafted, award-winning songs, top-notch lead singing and fine harmonies.

Also appearing are the The Annie and Rod Capps Trio, a fixture of the Southeastern Michigan music scene, and regulars at The Ark, Top of The Park and more. They call their music “Midwest Urban Folk” and it draws on influences are part Hoedown and part Motown. Joining Annie and Rod is mandolin and guitar virtuoso Jason Dennie, who adds three-part harmony and hot pickin' all in service of the songs.
