County Clean Up Day this Saturday - Saline Drop Off 9;00 am-2:00 pm

Saturday October 1st - County Clean up day!   From 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Saline Department of Public Works, located at 1234 Tefft Court in Saline.

Drop off E-waste- Household Chemicals and more....

  • Traditional recyclable materials (plastics, glass, aluminum, cardboard, paper)
  • Scrap metal
  • Appliances (washers, dryers, air conditioners, refrigerators, etc.)
  • Household hazardous materials (cleaning supplies, motor oil, pesticides, mercury, paint, etc.)
  • Tires
  • Electronic equipment (computers, televisions, toasters, etc.)
  • Sharps (diabetic needles, etc.)
  • Medications (no liquids or inhalers; must be in original container or paper/plastic bag; no glass or metal containers)

The event is FREE! However, there is a suggested $10 donation per car to help decrease disposal costs and to help maintain this community collection. Residents may bring up to four tires for free; a $5 donation is suggested for each additional tire. Residents can also bring one television, appliance or computer, but a $10 donation is suggested for each additional item.

This is a service for Washtenaw County residents only, funded and coordinated by the Solid Waste Division of the Washtenaw County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office, Washtenaw County Public Health, Northfield Township, Superior Township, the City of Saline, the City of Ann Arbor and Eastern Michigan University. All Washtenaw County residents are welcome and encouraged to attend. This collection is intended for residential use only – please, no businesses.
