The 69th annual Miss Saline Pageant is at 8 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 30 at the Saline Community Fair at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds.

The pageant, which offers thousands of dollars worth of scholarships and prizes, seeks contestants.

To qualify for this community leadership experience, eligible candidates must:

  • Be 16-21 years of age
  • Participate in an interview, basic modeling, & evening gown competition
  • Display poise during a question-and-answer session
  • Demonstrate community involvement
  • Be in enrolled and in good academic standing at Saline High or any post-secondary program. 

Once crowned, Miss Saline and her court will make appearances at the Fair and then spend the year volunteering at events around town, including Summerfest, Harvest at the Rentschler Farm Museum, and others.
