Saline Main Street presents Winterfest in downtown Saline Saturday.

The following is the schedule for today's activities:

(Activities are from 10 am to 3 pm unless otherwise listed.)

Medallion Hunt (O) – Started Sunday, till found – Downtown Saline.  More Information>>

Line Obstacle Course (O) – 10 am – 2 pm – South Ann Arbor Street. This unique activity for all ages.  Run this event as many times as you want. All you have to do is follow the line. This activity has been a huge hit the last three years. And we just went shopping to change it up again… New challenges every year.

Obstacle Course Competition (A)(O)(R) – NEW for 2018 – 2 pm – South Ann Arbor Street – Are you going to hold the record speed for our 2018 Obstacle Course?  $25 Gift Certificate to the winner… Great to Watch, Better to Race  FREE to Enter. Practice from 10 am – 2 pm. No pre-registration, just show up at 2 pm

Marshmallow Roasting (O) – NEW for 2018 – 11 am – 3 pm – South Ann Arbor Street. Who better to roast Marshmallows with than our very own Saline Area Fire Department.

Broomball Lessons  (O)  – NEW for 2018 – 10 am – 1 pm – South Ann Arbor Street – Come learn how to play Broomball.  This is excellent for the whole family. No Reservations required. FREE!

Broomball Open Play (O) – 10 am – 1 pm – South Ann Arbor Street – Come learn how to play Broomball.  This is excellent for the whole family. No Reservations required.

Broomball Sidewalk Viewing – Both Brecon Grille and Macs Acadian Seafood will have sidewalk beverage service during the adult broomball tournament.

Street Games (O)  – NEW for 2018 – South Ann Arbor Street – Come and learn how to play a variety of unique and very entertaining games. Games for all ages. Here you will find everything from bowling pins, hockey sticks, footballs, ropes, pop bottles, boxes, and a variety of unique items to challenge you.

Cold Butt Euchre Tournament (A)(O)(R)  3:30 pm Mac’s Acadian Seafood Patio – Details & Registration>

Patio Party(O)($) – 3 pm – dusk – Mac’s Acadian Seafood back patio. Come socialize with others out in the elements on the courtyard patio. Assorted warm and cold beverages will be available for purchase. Yes, we are planning heaters too for those not yet winterized folks.

Polar Bear Cutout –  South Ann Arbor Street. Stick your head in the hole and get your awesome souvenir picture..

Open Mic Night – 8 pm – closing – Brecon Grille. Come perform or listen to anything someone wants to perform. Show your talent, sing, say, or do. Could be poetry, song, a little music, a speech, or just about anything else. Please signup before or during activity.

Trade Tokens for Prizes – 11 am – 4 pm Carrigan Cafe. When Kids do most activities from 10 am though 3 pm they will receive tokens, trade your tokens for prizes at Carrigan Cafe. Prizes will be a wide range of things and some really unique items. Feel free to combine tokens among friends to go for a bigger prize.

Darts – Excaliber Barber Shop. Try your skill at throwing darts.

Memory Match Game –  Maureen’s Designs. Try to match cards by flipping two over.

Face Painting  – NEW for 2018  – Mod Squad Salon. Come get your face painted.

Corn Hole Open Play (O) – 10 am – 1 pm – Salt Springs Brewery Patio – Come challenge to some others to a game of corn hole on the Patio. Refreshments will be served 11 am – 1 pm. No need to register, just come play and enjoy.

Photo Booth  – NEW for 2018 – Have fun with some crazy accessories in the fun Photo Booth at Perry’s Tuxedo.

Ice Carving Demonstration (O) – NEW for 2018 – 11 am – 2 pm – Hartman Insurance & Baughman Capital Management will be hosting a ice carving demonstration by Ice Dreams Sculptures on their front lawn.

Puzzle Tables – First Presbyterian Church is having a room with refreshments and tables with puzzles to work. Come meet some new friends that enjoy working puzzles.

Stacking Wood Tower –  – NEW for 2018 – Dan’s Downtown Tavern Back Patio – Stop by for a refreshment and take the challenge of stacking a giant wood tower with your friends.

Midway Style Games – New Era Chiropractic – Take your aim at the targets in this shooting gallery or try one of the other midway games.

Pricing Game – Pineapple House. Try to guess the price of products in a TV game show type activity. This event was very successful last year, so it is back again!

Tasting of our Favorite Things – NEW for 2018  – The Cheese Shop of Saline. Come taste the favorite things at The Cheese Shop.

Mozzarella Making Demonstration  – NEW for 2018 – 12 pm & 2 pm – The Cheese Shop of Saline. Come learn how mozzarella is made. Kits to try at home available for purchase.

Edible Photos  – NEW for 2018 – Not quite what you may be thinking, but definitely a yummy picture at Sweet Leilani’s.

Meet Belle and Sing-a-long  – NEW for 2018 – Come join the Beauty at McPherson Local from 12pm – 3pm For a photo with you and some singing. Note: Beast will not be present.

Kids Games – NEW for 2018  – Trinity Lutheran with be hosting Bank of Ann Arbor’s Kid Games. Come inside for creative kids games.

Giant Plinko – Everything is way more fun the larger it is.. Come climb up and try out this giant Plinko Board at The News Arts & Antiques.

Make & Take Crafts  – St. Paul’s UCC. This is perfect for 3 years old and up. Rock Painting, Nail Painting, Cupcake Decorating,

FUN Room –  St. Paul UCC. The youth of the church are opening their youth room for Ping Pong, Pool table, Air Hockey & Foosball.

Hot Dogs, Mac & Cheese, Popcorn, Pop, Hot Chocolate, & water  & Bake Sale ($)  – St. Paul UCC –   This is a fundraiser to help support the youth’s activities.

Cass Corridor Volunteering – 10am – Noon St. Paul UCC – Donate some of your time at the event helping others. St. Paul’s UCC & Keystone Church monthly prepare food and toiletries for the homeless in Detroit. Our Cass Corridor mission project is for food and Toiletry kit preparation. This is a joint venture with Keystone Church in Saline.  We prepare food for 200 needy people and hand them out at two stops in Detroit.  We will be preparing Bean Soup, Hot Dogs, hot chocolate and sandwiches.  We also put together toiletry kits to pass out at the stops.  Individuals can help prepare food and the toiletry kits and if they wish, they may also go down with the group to Detroit (recommend that kids be at least 14 years old and must be accompanied by an adult).

1800’s sleigh – Pose in a refurbished 1800’s sleigh for another unique photo op at  St. Paul UCC.

Polar Bear – 10 am – 10 pm Around Downtown. Our very own Polar Bear will be wondering around downtown for you to meet and greet and get a special photo.
