Stained Glass Designs

Monclova, Ohio

ANDREA BAKER retired from teaching Art in 2017, after a career spanning thirty-five years. Exhibiting & selling her own artwork is something she has always dreamed about having time to do. So, she started her business “Stained Glass Designs” and got busy.  She has been creating artwork with stained glass since 2014.  Andrea loves the challenge of creating unique pieces of art through a series of integral steps: imagining and making patterns, cutting the glass, grinding the edges, fitting the pieces, applying foil tape or lead came, soldering everything together, and finally polishing & embellishing the finished piece. Vincent Van Gogh said, “Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.” One of Andrea’s best-selling products are her stained-glass potted cacti & plants. Customers love them because they look real, only better, and require no maintenance!  “Stained Glass Designs” will have holiday themed glass art as well as wire trees on glass panels, air plant holders and many other unique items.  If you are looking for a one of a kind, beautiful, hand-made gift for someone (or yourself), visit Booth 18, at the Saline Craft Show on November 9th.
