Stop in the 3rd Tuesday of every month to have 20% of your food and drink sale donated to a local non profit.
It is automatic. No need to say anything; no need to bring in a flier.
December's local non-profit is CANCER SUPPORT COMMUNITY of Ann Arbor.
The Cancer Support Community (CSC) is dedicated to ensuring that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action and sustained by community. CSC achieves its mission through three areas: direct service delivery, research and advocacy.
Emotional support & resource sharing are provided through professionally facilitated groups and support programs. Support activities allow you to connect with others facing similar issues. Support groups have been shown to help people improve the quality of their lives. Support programs are available for all people affected by cancer, including friends and family members, and children.
Knowledge is power. Attend an educational workshop, led by experts on a variety of topics. Our educational workshops provide opportunities for acquiring tools and information about cancer, along with techniques to learn how to be an active participant in your cancer care. Empower yourself as a person living beyond cancer, or strengthen your knowledge and support as a caregiver.
Stress management & exercise programs are designed to reduce stress, strengthen the immune system, improve balance, and increase muscle tone and mass for people with cancer, and those who support them. Cooking and nutrition classes are taught by a registered dietitian, and explore the role nutrition plays in your journey.
