“Musical Jam for Safehouse” at Dan’s Tavern in Saline to Benefit SafeHouse Center
A group of musicians, including award-winning Fiddler Jeremy Kittel, boogie-woogie pianist Mr. B., mandolinist Josh Pinkham, hammered dulcimer virtuoso Simon Chrisman, guitarist Jesse Mason, cellist Nathaniel Smith, top local fiddlers and more will be jamming at a special fundraiser at Dan’s Tavern in Saline, Michigan on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM.
This fundraiser for SafeHouse Center is sponsored by Jeremy’s mother, Pamela Kittel, who is grateful for the services and programs offered cost-free to all survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.
“October is “Domestic Violence Awareness Month”, explains Deb Kern, SafeHouse Center Giving and Events Manager. “We are honored that Pam wanted to help bring awareness to the work the SafeHouse Center does every day through legal advocacy, counselling, support groups, children’s programs and safe shelter for survivors in our own community.”
Dan’s Tavern has graciously provided the space for concert and will donate part of the proceeds from the evening to SafeHouse Center in conjunction with the musical guest performance. There is no cover charge and music will begin at 6 PM.
