This 8-week group is a bereavement support group for adults suffering the loss of loved one. Participants will learn coping and relaxation skills, have a safe space to learn about bereavement, gain self-awareness, explore feelings, and increase their network of support through the dynamics of group and information on additional local resources. The group meets weekly, starting Thursday February 16, for 8 consecutive weeks. The group meets for 1 hour from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. The facilitator is Kathryn Raths, M.A., LLPC. Kathryn is the author of What Can I Saw When Words Escape Me - Being Present in Times of Sorrow. Her extensive work in grief recovery and group counseling make her an invaluable resource for finding support in times of loss.
