In this free one-hour introductory session learn the benefits of practicing Mindful Self-Compassion. In the 8-week course that follows, participants learn skills to improve emotional resilience and well-being through mindfulness and self-compassion. Based on the work of Kristen Neff and Chris Germer, the course has been shown to decrease stress and anxiety, quiet the inner critic, and improve the way one relates to difficult emotions and challenging situations. Offered by Paulette Grotrian, experienced meditator and MSC teacher and founding member of the Ann Arbor Center for Mindfulness.
