This 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course is an evidence-based way to help reduce stress and anxiety, improve chronic pain, and enhance health and well-being.  Designed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School this course has helped many learn to live better with chronic pain, promote optimal healing, reduce anxiety, and improve the overall quality of life by engaging in mindfulness practices.  The course meets Fridays, 9:30-11:30, Sept 29-Nov 17 at the Community Room, 400 W. Russell, Saline.  Course fee is $400 and includes an all-day retreat, a workbook, and guided meditation CDs.
