Kevin Hall won his first individual championship and Logan Wetzel returned to the 5K track for the first time since his freshman year. Together, they helped Saline win the team title at Bath.

Senior Elianna Shwayder helped the Hornets edge Hudsonville and Rockford at the annual race between some of the state's fastest teams.

While Saline's "A" team won at Bath, the "B" team was busy winning at Lake Erie Metropark.

Lillie Phelps was the fastest Hornet at the Warrior Classic.

Casey Roell, Matthew Genereaux and Artur Engler-Pinto scored for the 4-1 Hornets.

Griffin Wooley rushed for 3 touchdowns, Nader El-Awar made several big plays, and Dom DiMellis had 10 tackles for the defense.

The Saline Hornets built a 37-7 lead and hung on to win 37-29.

The Saline Area Lions Club scholarships are awarded each year to high-achieving and financially-deserving graduates of Saline High School. This year the winners of this prestigious award include Ella Babcock and Ashley Richmond, both 2013 Saline High School graduates.

 

Casey Roell, Rohan Carg, Artur Engler-Pinto, Ryan McCormick and Bogdan Pintile scored for Saline, who improved to 3-1 overall

Of the top 10 finishers in the 5K race, six were from Saline. Of the top 30, 16 were Hornets.
Saline was led by sophomores Danielle Fillmore and Lillie Phelps.

The Farmers Market has an abundance of fresh, local produce, delicious baked goods, eggs, honey, maple syrup, specialty food products, coffee, crafts and so much more.  Stop by Saturday from 8am-noon, May-October, Downtown, S. Ann Arbor Street or on Tuesday, 3pm-7pm, June-September at the Saline District Library, 555 N. Maple Road.  There are so many choices...too many to list.
