Local kids collected goodies from merchants and met Frosty and Santa during the annual Treasure Trail to Santa event held at the Busch's shopping center Saturday.

The annual event was hosted by the Saline Area Chamber of Commerce.

Families stopped at Therapy in Motion to pick up their treasure maps. They stopped at the local businesses on the map, picking up goodies. Out front of Capitol Cleanors, the kids met with Frosty. The trail led to Busch's, where people warmed up with with free donut holes and cocoa. Finally, the trail led to Santa's Village, where children sat on Santa's lap and told the jolly old fellow what they wanted for Christmas this year.

Families also pet animals in a small petting farm and went for a horse-drawn carriage ride around the parking lot.
