A 17-year-old Saline girl may face a misdemeanor charge after a dine and dash at Dan’s Downtown Tavern June 13.

The accused and her 15-year-old brother ordered burgers and fries and then left, carrying their leftovers box, without paying the $23.30 bill.

A employee from Dan’s followed the teenagers and called police, who caught up to the pair walking near Harris and McKay streets.

The prosecutor’s office authorized a misdemeanor complaint for defrauding an innkeeper.
