Washtenaw Sheriff's Office Warns Residents to Lock Vehicles

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is warning people to lock their vehicles after a rash of larcenies.

According to an alert sent Thursday the WCSO has experienced an increase in reports of larcenies from motor vehicles within the last few months. Most of those incidents were from unlocked vehicles.

The alert also warns residents to stow valuables out of site and to report supicious activities to police.

Saline Police Chief Jerrod Hart issued similar warnings to Saline residents last week after two Milan males were caught after allegedly stealing from vehicles and garages in Saline.
