Michigan Avenue is closed between Warner and Campbell roads in Pittsfield Township with a pole and lines across the road.

According to Pittsfield Township police, a semi-truck behind Nature's Garden was pulling away when it caught a power line and pulled down two utility poles and power lines.

About 800 DTE customers in the area are without electricity. DTE estimated power would be restored by 5:45 p.m.

Police could not provide an estimate for when the road might re-open.

Power was out at Saline High School and Harvest Elementary School. Saline Area Schools transportation coordinator Tracey Mulcare said there could be delays as students were transported home from school.
