The Saline Marching Band earned highest marks at the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association band festival Monday at Westland John Glenn High School.
The band "had a great performance," according Nate Lampman, Director of Bands, and received 1st Division "Superior" ratings from all of the judges. This score represents the highest possible rating at the festival.
"Achieving high scores at marching band festival is one of the long term goals of the band each year," Lampman said. "Congratulations members of the Saline Marching Band."
Catch the band in action Friday night when they perform at halftime and after the game between Saline and Pioneer.
