Mayor Brian Marl invited all Saline-area senior citizens to the 2018 Saline Senior Conference next month.
“I’m looking forward to the seventh year of this event,” said Marl. “It’s always a pleasure to spend time with the older residents of our community, and we’re planning a conference that will provide valuable information, as well as allow the opportunity for attendees to ask questions and discuss issues important to them.”
The 2018 Saline Senior Conference will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., June 22 at the Saline Area Senior Center, 7190 North Maple Road, behind Saline Middle School.
Complimentary breakfast, lunch, and door prizes will be provided. Following breakfast, attendees will participate in exciting breakout sessions (enhancing memory, health and wellness, and a cooking demonstration), and later in the day a government panel will discuss issues pertinent to Saline-area senior citizens.
Every senior, regardless of residency, is encouraged to attend this free event.
Although the event is free, RSVP is required as capacity is limited; To RSVP or for more information, please contact the Saline Senior Center at (734) 429-9274.
