WHEATON, Ill. -- Saline High School graduate Caleb Ashby is receiving accolades after a terrific senior year for the Wheaton College football team.

Ashby helped Wheaton make the quarterfinals in the NCAA Division III football playoffs.

Ashby, a linebacker, was named by to All-America team, earning First Team Honors.

Ashby earned First Team ALL-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin honors and was named to the First-Team All-North Region Honors.

He finished the year with 86 tackles, 10 sacks, 16.5 tackles for a loss and an interception.

Ashby studies psychology.
