Hannah Allen cuts to the net to score a goal against Huron.

After watching Huron battle back from a 3-0 lead to tie the game, Saline bounced back to win 6-4 in varsity girls lacross action Tuesday night at Saline High School.

Olivia Scarpati and Erin Melcher scored goals to give Saline a 2-0 lead at halftime.

Hannah Allen scored the first of her two goals early in the second half, making it 3-0.

Huron bounced back with three goals in less than four minutes.

Allen put the Hornets ahead 4-3 with a bounce shot after coming from behind the net and cutting into a seam. But Sarah Baynes tied it a four.

With 11:10 to play, Celest Roof was fouled as she attempted to bring the ball in front of the net. She scored what proved to be the game-winning goal on her shot. Emi Maloney gave Saline the 6-4 win when she shot the ball through a crowd and found the corner.
