SEEING RED: Saline's Football Team Runs SEC Winning Streak to 28

 10/13/2018 - 02:49

Saline lost to Pioneer, 7-6, in the first SEC Red game of coach Joe Palka's tenure. Since then, they've won 33 of 34 games (the only other loss was a 33-17 loss to Bedford in 2013 - the one year under Palka in which Saline did not win at least a share of the conference title).

The Hornets have now won 28 straight games in the SEC Red and five straight SEC Red championships.

Here's the won-loss record and points for vs. points against in the SEC Red in each of Palka's years as head coach.
