If there’s a criticism of the undefeated Saline varsity boys’ soccer team, it’s that for their possession and pressure, at times, they’ve struggled to score goals.

That’s why the 5-0 victory over Bedford Thursday was a welcome sign.

The Hornets dominated play, from start to finish. But this time, they were rewarded with five goals.

Zeke Gray and Charlie Rogers each scored twice and Dominic Rossi also scored for Saline.

Sam Herner posted the shutout as Saline improved to 5-0 in the SEC Red.

Saline ranked 3rd in the recent Michigan High School Soccer Coaches’ Association Division 1 poll.
