Tressler, Mah and Roberts Lead Saline Tennis to 2nd Place Finish

Saline Boys Varsity Tennis, coached by Andy BeDell, had a strong showing at the 2017 Boyne City Invitational Saturday, September 9th.  The Hornets finished Second Place overall against seven other teams, including top 5 ranked Forest Hills Northern. Saline is hosting Skyline Tuesday Sept. 12 in a dual match and play at Ann Arbor Huron on Thursday Sept. 14.  Saline will also be hosting the annual Saline Quad on Saturday, Sept. 16.  Come out and support the SHS Boys Varsity Tennis team!

Here are the flight results:

1 Singles, Cam Tressler (11th grade), won first place.

2 Singles, Ethan Shell (11th grade), won third place.

3 Singles, Nathan Makowski (11th grade), won third place.

4 Singles, Nathan Mah (9th grade), won third place.

1 Doubles, Johnathan Roberts (12th grade) and Alex Mah (12th grade), won first place.

2 Doubles, Jackson Jost (12th grade) and Conner Krager (12th grade), won third place.

3 Doubles, Isaac Gilmore (10th grade) and Dhruv Talekar (10th grade), won second place.

4 Doubles, Brock Mayfield (10th grade) and Khandan Nadaraja (9th grade), won third place.

Alternates:  Lucas Schultz (11th grade) and Justin Wickham (10th grade).
