That National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for freezing drizzle expected to impact Southeast Michigan.

The advisory is in effect from 9:31 p.m. to 4 a.m.

According to the advisory, the icing amounts will be light but enough to glaze possible roadways. Temperatures have fallen unto the 20s, which have made roads more slippery. Numerous crashes and slide-offs have been reported.

Drivers should expect slippery roads and limited visibility and should use caution, according to the advisory.

Eastbound M-14 near Gotfredson Road was closed due to a multiple-vehicle crash.
