The Arctic temperatures have arrived. Here our list of what's open and what's closed in the Saline area.

  • Saline Area Schools classes are canceled Wednesday.
  • Tuesday evening's basketball games at Huron are postponed to Monday.
  • Saline Area Schools buildings are open Tuesday evening. Check with your coaches/instructors to see if your activities will take place.
  • Scot Graden's "Community Conversation, from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m., in the Liberty School Board Room, is taking place.
  • Pittsfield Township municipal offices will be closed Wednesday.
  • The Saline Area Chamber of Commerce member party will go on as scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, at Linden Square.
  • All Pittsfield Township Community Center/Senior Center and Parks and Recreation activities will be canceled Wednesday. They will resume Thursday.
  • The Cheese Shop of Saline will be closed Wednesday.
  • Great Lakes Educational Group will be closed
  • Salt Springs Brewery will be closed until 4 p.m., Thursday
  • Carrigan Cafe will be open at 6 a.m., but may close early.
  • The Saline Rec Center will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Wednesday. It's one of three warming centers in Saline, along with the council chambers at city hall and the Saline District Library.
