Saline Police have located the suspect believed involved in a hit-and-run crash downtown Friday afternoon, Saline Police Department Sgt. Jay Basso said.
About 4:30 p.m., an east-bound dark Chevy Lumina went through the stop sign on McKay street, striking a minivan northbound on Ann Arbor.
The minivan swerved and drove up the guide wire of a utility pole and rolled to its side. No one in the van was injured or required transport to hospital. The Lumina left the scene, leaving its front bumper behind.
Police scoured Saline and found the vehicle at Thorncrest Apartments, Basso said. An arrest was made.
Basso said more information will be available when the police report is finalized. (Correction: It's not confirmed the SPD arrested the suspect. All that's known at this point is the SPD located the suspect).
