The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Southeast Michigan. The watch is in effect until 2 a.m. Monday.
Storms may bring wind gusts up to 80 mph, 2.5-inch hail and are capable of producing tornadoes. The storm is moving east at 40 miles per hour. It appears the worst of the weather will follow a line north of Saline, from Kalamazoo to Saginaw.
