The Saline Area Girls scouts held their annual Daddy Daughter Bowling event this afternoon, February 11, 2018 at Maplewood Lanes in Saline.

The event was hosted by Ambassador Troop 41193 which consists of seven seniors from Saline High School, Meghan Ringle, Maggie Finn, Becky Cantrell, Brenna Healy, Emily Huetteman, Gretchen Walker and Anna Schafer.

51 bowlers, including 30 Girl Scouts, ranging from Daisy Girl Scouts (K-1st grade) through Cadette Girl Scouts (6th-8th grade), and their dads took to the lanes to have some bowling fun.

Each team was provided with a Bingo card where they could play Bingo with their score each frame. They also were given some ideas for trying some fun techniques for getting the ball down the lane, including pushing it down the lane while lying on your belly. Additionally, the girls were able to make picture frames to capture the day, and a picture with their dads was taken and included to put in their frames at the end of the event.  The bowlers enjoyed the cake that was generously donated by Busch's in Saline.

Troop 41193 would like to thank Maplewood Lanes, Busch's and the participants from Saline Area Girl Scouts for coming together to help to make this event a success.
