Doyle O. Jackson, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 in Ann Arbor, MI. He was born on December 21, 1942 in Ypsilanti, MI, the son of George W. and Occie E. (Ling) Jackson.

On October 23, 1965 he married Patricia Catherine Variot and she preceded him in death on August 28, 2013.

Jackson Doyle pic EDITED.jpgSurvivors include their children Tammy (Michael) Cummings and David (Christina) Jackson. Also surviving are his grandchildren Alyssa, Haleigh, Hannah, and Emma Cummings. Doyle was preceded in death in addition to his wife by his siblings William Ventrice Jackson, Helen Jean (Jackson) Ricker, and Donald Jackson. 

Doyle enjoyed being outdoors during warm weather days. He liked camping, fishing and boating with family and friends. Always able to provide the upcoming weather forecast and the best place to eat, no matter what city you were in.  Never spoke negative of anyone and had a genuine care for all, but his family was his world.  A loving son, husband, dad and grandfather. 

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline with Deacon Paul Ellis officiating. Burial will follow the service and will take place in the Oakwood Cemetery in Saline. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the American Diabetes Association and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
