Howard F. Finkbeiner, 84, of Saline, MI passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. Howard is survived by his loving wife Irene Finkbeiner. He is also survived by siblings Richard Finkbeiner, Robert (Rachel) Finkbeiner, Herbert (Margaret) Alber, sister-in-law Marilyn Finkbeiner, brother-in-law Larry Mack and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. His friends have also been important in his life. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Helen Finkbeiner, sister Jane Mack, brother Gerald Finkbeiner, and sister-in-law Olive Finkbeiner. 

Howard served proudly in the United States Army Signal Corps. His education and career as Research Administrator were at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in celebration of Howard’s life may be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ, 122 West Michigan Ave, Saline, MI 48176. A private service will take place in accordance with Howard’s wishes.  Burial will take place in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ann Arbor, MI. Arrangements entrusted to the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home, Saline, MI.
