Linda Hedrick Hughes, 54, of Ypsilanti, Michigan passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 15, 2018 in her home, with her loving husband Theron Hughes at her side. Linda will also be sorely missed by her beloved parents Guy & Evelyn Hedrick, her sisters Libby (Derek) Cochrane & Lisa Hedrick, her nieces Stephanie Cochrane & Jacqueline (Nick) Zaborski, her nephews John & David Cochrane, her great niece Ella Zaborski, and many extended family members & friends.

Linda grew up in Saline and was baptized at Saline Baptist Church where she was a member for all her formative years. She graduated from Saline High School in 1982, and received her Associate’s Degree from Washtenaw Community College. Linda was and still is the heart and soul of WAAM Radio, where she was the General Manger since 2008, as well as the only female owner of an independent radio station in the United States.

She and her husband attended NorthRidge Church in Plymouth for many years and loved worshiping there. She had a great love for people and the Lord, and we find comfort in knowing that she is rejoicing in Heaven.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Linda's life on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline, MI. The service will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Saline Community Church (Old Saline Baptist Church), 211 Willis Road in Saline.
