Timothy Allen Sole, 61, of Onsted, MI passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 23, 2018 with his wife and daughters by his side.

Tim was born August 20, 1957 to the late Hughie M. Sole and Anna “Virginia” (Millhouse) Sole in Ypsilanti, MI. Tim is survived by his wife of 38 years, Leora Alette (Joesel) Sole; two daughters, Deedra M. Sole-Cravens (Jim Cravens) of Saline, MI and Virginia A. Sole (John Burnett) of Milan, MI; four grandchildren, Logan Sole, Kaden Cravens, TJ Burnett and Kaitlyn (Eric) Stevens; and one great-grandchild, Kaylani Burnett. He is also survived by siblings, Eileen (late Arnold) Pope, Norman Sole, and Mary Anna (Todd) Beck and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Hughie “Wayne” Sole. Tim lived for a time in Fort Worth, TX, Redondo Beach, CA and Stockbridge, MI. He was a graduate of Belleville High School in Belleville, MI and spent 4 years in the United States Marine Corps. He married his bride at New River Air Station, NC.

He spent the majority of his working life as a Controls Engineer. He coached girls varsity soccer and was assistant coach for boys varsity soccer at Stockbridge High School from 1996-2000. He enjoyed golf, bowling, the outdoors, and his beloved friends - who he thought of and raised his children to know as family.

The family would like to thank the VA Ann Arbor Hospital and Great Lakes Caring Hospice. Family will receive friends at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline, MI on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. for visitation, with a memorial service at 1:00 P.M. Pastor Dan Sharpe will officiate. All are invited to his Celebration of Life at 1621 W. Textile Rd., Ann Arbor, MI immediately following the memorial service until 7:00 P.M. Please consider a Hawaiian shirt at Tim’s request. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating or volunteering to the VA Ann Arbor Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
