Saline improved to 10-1 this season with a 5-3 win over Bedford at the Toledo Ice House Wednesday.
Mason Ausmus and Collin Clark scored first period goals to spot Saline a 2-0 lead. The Hornets dominated action early, piling up a 12-3 lead in shots. But Bedford put up six shots, including one that went in the goal, on a powerplay.
Bedford dominated the second period and took a 3-2 lead. Saline goalie Jeffrey Gilbert was credited with keeping the Hornets in the game.
Saline took over in the third. Senior Tom Raupp tied the game early in the period. Brendan Murphy and Mikhail Lozovyy scored to give Saline the victory. Lozovyy finished with a goal and two assists. Raupp and Ausmus each tallied a goal and an assist.
Saline plays Livonia Franklin Friday at 5:30 p.m. at the Eddie Edgar Arena in Livonia.
