The Saline football team won’t look beyond this week’s game against Ypsilanti – but we can.
According to the latest Snooze2You projections, Saline might just get a home game after all.
Last week, Snooze2You had Saline starting on the road at Canton. This week, Snooze2You predicts Saline opening at home to Canton.
Both teams possess a 6-1 record. Saline has the slight edge in playoff points – 88.429 to 87.714.
However, if both Saline and Canton win this Friday, Canton might leapfrog Saline in the points standings because they’d get more bonus points for beating Brighton than Saline would Ypsilanti.
Even with a win to put its record at 7-1, Saline might not salvage a home game out of the situation.
The bottom line is, Saline most likely needs to win Friday’s game to enjoy another game at Hornet Stadium.
At this point, if Snooze2You’s mapetology projections hold, Saline would like head on the road for the district championship. Belleville, at 7-0, is the top team in the district with 106 playoff points.
It’s a tough district. And if you win, Detroit Cass Tech might be waiting in the regional.
Good thing the Hornets are getting better every week.
