Saline Middle School staff defended their home turf at the Schools of Rock event Friday night.
It was the second straight win for Saline Middle School in an event that's expected to raise close to $10,000 for the Foundation for Saline Area Schools. The foundation is in the midst of a campaign to raise $75,000 in support of new world language curriculum that begins in the K-3 elementary schools next fall.
Tickets for the event, which cost $10, sold out two days after going on sale in October.
The event will be moved to the Ellen A Ewing Performing Arts Center at Saline High School and shifted to January.
